Pressing Pause to Celebrate Love

Life has a way of filling up with milestones, sometimes all at once. And right now, I’m living through one of the most beautiful seasons yet, I’m getting married! 💍
Between planning a wedding, raising my sweet little boy, pursuing my master’s degree, and walking my path with God, life has been wonderfully full (and, let’s be honest, a little exhausting). Add to that the realities of living in South Africa during challenging economic times, and it’s no surprise that I’ve had to slow down my creative work with ND Kids for a little while.
But let me be clear: this pause is only temporary. ND Kids remains my heart’s work. Every book I create is born out of passion, love, and a mission to make neurodivergent children feel truly seen and celebrated. That hasn’t changed. If anything, this chapter of my life is giving me fresh perspective, deeper patience, and more reasons to keep pushing forward.
So, while my hands may be busy with bouquets and wedding plans, my heart is still holding onto the vision of ND Kids. When the time is right, I’ll be back at my desk, pouring everything I’ve learned and lived into the next book , ready to continue this journey of making a difference, one child at a time.
Thank you for walking alongside me, both in business and in life. Your support means more than I can ever say.
With gratitude,
Carla
